日本の制服撮影 ~ Japanese Uniform Shoot @ Japanese Garden!

Hello wonderful people!

This morning I woke up @ 7.30am to prepare for the Japanese Uniform Photoshoot @ Japanese Garden! I was so tired I kept snoozing my alarm! I was supposed to wake up @ 7am!
Anyway, I had to curl my hair for the shoot for a different look from usual and that took A LOT of time! End up I was 10mins late and the photographers were already waiting for me! Sorry guys! :(
And lucky darling drove me there! If not i would've had to wake up like 5am? Considering the travel time and I stay far away from Japanese garden!

Anyway, the photographers were so friendly and didn't scold me! (Lucky la!) In fact, they were really fun and knows how to take care of girls! One of them kept asking if the sun was too bright and if I needed to take a break! So caring! Thank you! :D

Speaking about thank you, one of them kept saying " Thank you " every time after he took shots of me! So, being me, I replied thank you almost every time! Cause "pai seh" ma! He kept saying thank you and was so polite so I returned the manners. hehes.

So recently I bought the Samsung Ex-1 camera and I really love it! I noticed this camera model when I went for the CATS Car-nival photoshoot and Model Blogger Jocelyn Kau was using it!
I find the photos that came from the camera very nice and it has this flip screen, which is super useful for people like us when it comes to cam-whoring!

Needless to say, I definitely made good use of the camera! So today, you get to see better camwhore photos than before! The camera is easy to use and I just needed Adobe Photoshop's LIGHTROOM to adjust the lighting and that's it! :D

Bikini Photoshoot - My Favourite Picks

Good day to all!

I'm back with a post of my fave picks of photos from a recent Bikini Photoshoot!

Before I start, a little self shots for you! :)

So, the shoot was organized on Clubsnap Forums by Organizer Mambo Stevie!

I was placed together with a Thai Model, Kwan, Malaysian Model Cindy & Singapore Model Sherlyn.

It was a great Sunday although I woke up super early at 6.40am to prepare and head to Sentosa's Tanjong Beach.

There were about 24 photogaphers in total and we were divided into groups to take turns to shoot. About 6 photographers to 1 model.

Anyway, I met a lot of photographers and they were all so friendly! I had great fun!

Photographers, I hope you guys had fun too and hope I did not disappoint you and hope you got good photos!

Setback, Encouraged, Stand back up!

As you know, I got into the Semi-Finals of the CATS Race Queen contest.

Unfortunately, I was booted out and did not proceed to the finals. How disappointing! I was so sad I cried! I thought I would at least get into the finals. But well, the judges didn't want me. :(

I was sad, but these wonderful friends and supporters on Facebook really touch my heart! They kept on giving me these encouragements and consoled me!

ONCE AGAIN, YOU GUYS GAVE ME MY CONFIDENCE BACK!

Anyway, joining this contest was a fruitful experience! I got to made friends with the other models! Especially JOJO LAI! She just so damn adorable and beautiful! I love her eyes! She's a nice girl and we have some things in common! :D

~ Cats Classified Race Queen Photoshoot ~

Hi Everyone!

I went for the audition for the Cats Race Queen Pageant and got into the Semi-Finals! I'm so excited and happy bout this! It's gonna be a new exposure and experience for me!

Anyway, I went for the photoshoot at Subaru Showroom, together with 11 other girls! There's 12 of us. :D

It was a very fruitful day as I made friends with all the girls and they are so friendly! Not to mention they are all gorgeous looking!

Our photos will be published in the Straits Time's Cats Classified Newspaper from 1st July to 6th July 2011. There will be 2 girls each day. My photo will be published on the 4th July together with Jocelyn Kau! So do remember to grab a copy of it to support! :D

The competition is on the 10th of July, Sunday @ Singapore Expo Hall 5, 12pm.

Here's a photo of me on stage during the Miss Enchanting Finals on the 23rd. The competition was a great experience of me and I sang for the first time on stage with so many ppl I don't know looking! I was so nervous and cold and scared I wore a jacket up and I kept shaking! OMG! So embarrassed! But well, there's always a first time for everything yeah? At least I tried! Hahas. I did not win anything from the contest but it was definitely fun as I met new friends! :D

~12th May 2011 - ROM Solemnization of Xavier & Valerie @ NSRCC~

~WE GOT MARRIED!~

On the 12th of May 2011, Darling and I got married @ NSRCC (National Service Resort Country Club)!

The day before was chaotic like hell, not to mention on the actual day, everything was out of control!

We ran out of time to finish up the decorations, we were shaking as we were rushing against time.

Trust me guys, planning and holding a wedding is not easy at all! Although it was just a Solemnization Ceremony, this day marks great significance as we sign the Marriage Certificate and be officially married under the law.

Anyway, the thing is, we failed at time planning and thus making us run out of time. But, the show's gotta go on yeah? The solemnization was scheduled to start @ 5.30pm. At 5.30pm, the Justice of Peace, Mr Phang Tai Heng arrived. I was still doing my makeup! Mr Phang was really nice and professional. He waited patiently even though he had another ceremony to rush to. Thank you Mr Phang! :)

I hid behind the curtain and peeked from the window of the room I was preparing in. I saw the guests, JP, everyone. At the time, I felt so nervous, I was shaking. I had someone bring up my hand bouquet and prepared to head down. Darling was already down there, entertaining the guests, running here and there. Poor darling was sweating already!

At 5.40pm, I went down, held my Father's arms and walked towards the solemnization table. Damn I was so nervous, I couldn't breathe properly. Darling was at the end of the aisle, waiting for me. I was happy, excited and super nervous. I tried to keep my cool. Mr Phang started the ceremony. Darling and I listened faithfully. When it was time, we exchanged rings, read our vows, JP pronounced us husband and wife and we kissed. Till today, everything that happened was kind of a blur to me, everything passed so fast, I GOT MARRIED! Anyway, I cried when it was time for Darling and I to make a thank you speech to the guests. I broke down and started crying. I was too happy and stressed out from all the chaotic rushing. You'll see the photo later. Haha.

I wanna thank Ms Jessica and her Boyfriend, John bro, Vic Bro, my brother Anthony and Sister Tabby for helping us. Without you guys, the ceremony would have been even more chaotic! Thank you so much!!! Love you all!

Audi Fashion Week 2011 - Francis Cheong Couture, Christy Chung & Marie France Bodyline

17th May 2011 was the day I first set foot at a Fashion Show Event.
It was everything you would seee on TV!

Red carpet, Glamorous, Fashionistas Mingling, Celebrities, Models.
Thanks to OMY.SG, I got the chance to attend this glamorous event!

Disclaimer ** I've got to say this in advance, despite me being armed with a 7D DSLR that day, with my poor skills of handling a DSLR at night time with low lighting, my photos aren't of good quality! But hope you are able to have a rough idea of how the place is like! :)

I attended the event with my baby sister, Tabby. When we first arrived at the TENT @ Orchard , Ngee Ann Civic Plaza, we went like" Whoa, okay, so now what?"

Anyway, we eventually found the organizer , got our invitation card and went in.

There was a red carpet not far away from the entrance, with a couple of photographers hanging around, approaching guests to take photos of them on the red carpet with the brand's background board(Sorry I've got no idea what's the name for the board!).

I tried my best to get a good shot but failed! They're indeed photogenic! With my lousy skills, they still looked good!

Anyway, there's this bar with all the guests around mingling. Saw some Celebrities!

The place was kinda packed with all the Guests!

A while later all guests headed to get seated. We had to go through a curtain-like partition.

Mr Francis Cheong then came to join Christy Chung at the end of the runway to bow and wave to the crowd and pose for pictures.

I went to the show not knowing who Francis Cheong was. But, I left the show with great impression of this designer. His style is filled with bold colours, daring, unique and creative. With each model strutting down the runway with dresses he designed, it just gets better.

He is definitely someone to look out for in this multi-million dollar industry. From what I see, his designs has no restrictions! And that, is definitely what people are looking for nowadays.
NO RESTRICTIONS! WELL DONE MR FRANCIS CHEONG!

Movie Review - Fast & Furious 5! Fast 5!

Got a thing for speed? Hot babes? Muscular dudes?

Awesome cars?

YOU DEFINITELY WON'T WANNA MISS THIS!

I was selected by Omy.sg together with United International Pictures (UIP) to attend the movie preview of the long anticipated Fast Five! I was allowed to bring 1 friend along so I went with my boyfriend! Oops! Sorry! I mean I went with my, "Ahem, Husband-to-be!" (6 days countdown to our ROM!)

The preview was held at Filmgarde Cineplex @ Iluma Bugis.
Collected our tickets, purchased our coke, hotdog and went in to get seated!
We waited about 20-30 mins before the movie started though. But, it was definitely worth the wait!

Now, I've always been a fan of American movies and Fast Five is currently on the top of my list!

Fast Five had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole movie!
The movie started with a little recount of the ending in Fast & Furious 4 with the ever so awesome graphics!

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker decides to pull off one last job in order to once again gain their freedom.
With that, they reunite all-stars from every chapter of the explosive franchise built on speed in Fast Five.
Stars such as Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Matt Schulze, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Tego Calderon and Don Omar for this ultimate high-stakes race!

This formidable crew is about to rob the Big Boss, a corrupted businessman who wants them dead.
With each crew member tough and having a talent of their own, you'll be entertained with loads of ACTION, SPEED, unexpected TWISTS & TURNS during the movie together with great HUMOR that gets you cracking! Not to forget the HOT BODIES that they have! The movie also portrayed different heartwarming relationships that we in reality sometimes forget!

If you're a fan of Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, this movie is a MUST WATCH! Well, not just because of their great acting, you get to see both handsome dudes have a

My Favourite Casts:

Vin Diesel, one of the most sought after actors in Hollywood, plays the lead role in Fast Five. With him around, the movie will definitely be one filled with action, excitement and humor!

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, plays a cop, hunting Vin Diesel and his crew. In the movie, he portrays a man of justice, strong and determined. Not to forget his funny lines that gets people cracking!

Paul Walker, plays an Ex-Cop turned one of the most wanted man, still a buddy of Vin Diesel(Dom) and still trying to win Dom in a race. In this movie, he finds out something about his girlfriend, Jordana Brewster(Mia).

New Hair, like finally!

You know, I wish I could have my hair plucked/removed and insert new hairs with the color and style of my choice everytime I feel like having a new look! But imagine the pain one has to go through! Lols.

So, better stick to natural growing hair, where no pain involved! Well, unless you pull your hair la!

Anyway, finally, after what felt like years, I finally visited a salon and had my hair done by professionals!
Normally I would just grab one of those DIY hair dyes off the shelves of NTUCs or Shop & Save.
And the results always turn out bad! Uneven coverage, increased damage hair!

I'm someone who don't/can't spend much on dolling myself up.

Mainly because every time I'm about to spend on cosmetics, clothes, heels, bags or salon trip, I always stop and tell myself:
"Eh, this is not a need, it's a want. Next time than buy la, don't buy first."

So I end up not buying the things I want most of the time! It's good in a way that I save more money but bad in which I don't have the tools to enhance myself! (Especially when I'm very passionate about modeling and modeling requires you to look good! >.<)

But last weekend, I finally had my hair done in a salon!

Darling and I went to Malaysia's KSL City Mall together with my sister Tabby, and John Bro to get our hair done.

After we had lunch, we chose a salon that looks promising and professional!
One of the hairstylist, a girl who had short hair but looked cute and fashionable, approached to serve us.

She recommended the colors for Darling and I and we agreed. Initially she suggested I go for a lighter colour(I have no idea what the color is named) but I chose a darker one compared to the one she suggested.
Now I a bit regret la cause I want a lighter color now! But nvm, once my black hair grows, I'll head back and get the lighter color done!

So we went in, sat down and for the next 1hour plus or so, we left our hair in the hands of the cute hairstylist.

After everything was done, I felt so happy we actually went to a salon to get our hair done instead of doing the DIY way! Oh ya, we decided to get our hair done at a salon cause our ROM is in about 2 weeks! We want to look good for the Big Day! :D

And man that girl was good! She knows what she's doing and made us look good!
I love my hair now and I love how she styled Darling's hair! Darling became my very own Kim Hyun Joong!

Also, going to Malaysia's salon to get your hair done is a wise choice cause you save more and get good results too! :) Sorry la, Darling and I now very cautious with our financial usage cause we need to save for our HDB when I hit 21!

Okay so... Our ROM day is getting nearer day by day and I just can't wait! The month of May is gonna be a great cause we have our ROM week and also we're going Penang on the last week of the month to attend our friend's wedding and also have a mini honeymoon trip at Langkawi!

Damn I cannot wait till May! Crowned best month of the year! Hahas.

My Precious Shiro, 16th April Dog Run

It was a peaceful Saturday, Darling and I decided to bring Shiro to the dog run! We try to make it a point to bring him to the dog run once every week cause on weekdays, we have to attend to our jobs. :(

Hate the fact that I need to spend 9.5 hours a day working, stuck in the office, away from my family. Arggh. .But as every Singaporeans say, "BO BIAN MA!"

Anyway, we brought along Darling's 5D Mark II and took a few shots of my precious running around like crazy! Shiro even chased a big dog around and they had so much fun! Just love seeing my son so happy!
I am not the biological mother of Shiro, obviously. BUT, to me, he's my flesh and blood!

Ever since Shiro came into our lives, he's been the joy and also at many times, the one who gets me and Darling talking again after we had an argument or tiffs.

I love my baby boy and I will take care of him forever! :)

Mini Family Shoot

Hello Everyone!

Today I'm proud to present to you, my MINI FAMILY SHOOT!

In the photos, we are wearing the outfits we'll be wearing on the day of our Solemnization Event!

Shiro Gan, Our Son, is in the photos too! Love him so much!

Anyway, I'm blogging now during Lunch Time in the office and eating my Nasi Lemak at the same time. Lols!

ROM preparations are still hanging halfway in the air! Have yet to confirm the caterer as some friends have not confirmed if they're attending so please let me know soon yeah?

Decorations of the place is still a headache. FYI, I'm not having those hotel kind of ROM. I'm holding it @ National Service Resort Country Club's Chalet. Darling and I went to recky the place after I got to know about the place from Forums. Many brides had their ROM there too! The chalet is equipped with modern furnitures and the environment is great! Unlike Aloha or Costa Sands kind of chalet. So, after recky-ing, we decided to hold it there and will be DIY-ing all the decos! (BIG HEADACHE FOR ME LA!)

But still, it's the best way we found to save costs and still have a proper Solemnization event to share the joy with our family and friends!

Have no idea whether I got the above jap words correct, used google translate to translate " Good day to you". Just wanted to have some Jap words. Love Japanese and Korean language. Must learn them someday by taking lessons or whatever!

Anyway, met Mum and Tabby at ITE College East today to sign the withdrawal form. Darling drove! :D Alright, so... I'm officially no longer a student of College East. As many of you already know, I'm holding a full time job already. One thing I have to say, is that those of you who are still studying right now, PLEASE TREASURE IT. Cause when you step into the working world, and when it has to be full time, I tell you. YOU WILL NOT ENJOY IT. It's totally different from school... It's a pain in the ass. So... Treasure your school/play days.

Took photos today again! That person who said you're confused why I'm camwhoring when I'm this ugly and fat, YOU can F off. I am not that ugly.. I have unwanted fats but not till the extent I can't walk properly or what. Seriously you have no life.

Wedding Gown and Bands!

Hey everyone!

Man it's been more than a month since I last blogged! Lazy me!

Anyway, here today to blog about my gown and our wedding bands!

Yesterday, Darling and I went to his good friend's bridal shop in JB to choose my gown for our ROM.

So most bride to be(s) would actually choose a short ROM gown. Cause many might think a long gown is too formal or whatever. But for me, nothing's too formal for weddings la. As long as I love the gown right? Hahas. Well, I did wanna choose a short gown initially.
But in the end, I chose a long gown.

Here's how, the assistant there had me try on 3 short gowns, and followed by a few other long gowns. None of them were chosen by me. They were selected by the assistants. I tried all of them and didn't find any of them to my liking. You know, when you choose a gown, you look for the one that you try on and go "This is it!".

Oh ya, I forgot to mention, there IS one gown that I chose, but I didn't try it on yet. We left it hanging there while we tried all the others that they picked.

So after all the changing, I pointed to the gown that I chose and said, " Hey, I haven't tried that one!"
The assistant then took it for me to try, knowing that if I don't try it, after going back home, I'll bug my bf/fiance saying I haven't tried that gown yet!

Hahas, she definitely knows girls.

Okay, so, I tried it on and BAM! That's the one I want! I don't know why, but I only felt like a bride when I tried that on. The others, didn't make me feel like a bride at all. Although Darling did like one particular gown(Show u photo later).

But for me, this was it. I love the design, the little tail at the back, basically the whole gown!

So I took photo of me in both the shortlisted gowns, and we told the assistant we'll call back soon to confirm which gown I want.

Oh ya, and the wedding bands have been purchased from Soo Kee Jewellery! Now they're safely in the ring box, waiting for 12th of May, 2011. That's the date we'll say I do! :D

THE PROPOSAL @ 1/1/11

A day that carved great significance in my heart.

It was a day everyone in Singapore and people from all around the world was looking forward to. It was New Year's Eve. The arrival of the year 2011 is here and everyone was filled with hopes, resolutions and excitement.

As for Singapore, the Marina Bay was a place packed with thousands waiting to watch the fireworks and celebrate 2011's arrival. Marina Bay, is also the place where Darling and I were.

We went there to meet up with other photography folks for an outing that Red Dot Photo has organized to capture the fireworks and "book" space enough for all of us. We reached there around 6.30pm and settled down. It was still a long wait before 12am for the fireworks so we were idling around, ate snacks, drank, chat and waited.

Little did I know that Darling had informed the others about his intention to propose! They had the ring kept with Fisher, a member from Red Dot Photo.

After a long and patient wait of around 5.5 hrs, the fireworks finally started. The tripods of our members took up almost one whole stretch of the railing! Even before 12, tons of people had already started cheering and woo-ing, blowing whistles to show their excitement of this annual celebration.

Many were cheering throughout the whole duration of the fireworks display. I wonder if they got sore throat after they went back? Hahas. Anyway, the fireworks started nice and exciting. But halfway through, the smoke generated by the fireworks was SO THICK, that to me, it became a Bermuda triangle hanging halfway in the air. Fireworks that went up was covered by the thick smoke, it looked like they were disappearing into thin air. Which is why I say Bermuda Triangle. Hahas.

The fireworks ended and everyone started packing up their tripods and people behind us, start moving out. I was idling around or talking to someone, I can't remember, when I felt a couple of light pulling that came from the end of my dress. Eventually, I turned around.

I was shocked to see my Darling kneeling down with this ring box in his hand! The flashes from the other photographers almost blinded me! There were like 10 of them forming something like a semi circle and kept on hitting the shutter! At first I thought someone was using the torch light to flash me! It was an experience like a movie premiere or movie star!

I started to tear and cry and keep asking Darling, " Ni Zuo Mo? ( What are you doing?)" .

Darling then proceeded to pop the golden question. One question in our relationship I will never forget!

Darling: "Will you marry me?"

Me: " Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes"

Hahas. That's exactly what I replied. Approximately 5 times. Lols!

He then put on the ring for me. It's so SPARKLY!

We hugged, kissed and wipe off our tears. Oh yes, he teared too!

The flashes were still flashing! I then asked for a tissue from one of the members.

I was so damn happy I wasn't really sure what was going on exactly! I only know that Darling proposed and I said yes. Writing this post, I actually had to try and recall what happened during that few minutes! Hahas.

So now, I'm OFFICIALLY ENGAGED!

I can't wait to get on with the preparations of our ROM event! It's gonna be so perfect!

Thank you Darling and everyone who helped to "pakat" with my Darling to make this proposal such a wonderful and memorable one. I will always remember this day. Special thanks to Edmund Low who took the video, Eugene Yap, Fisher and Robin Chen for the photos! Also, thank you everyone on Facebook who wished me Congratulations! :) <3

Titi's Birthday

My Baby Yuki

Hello there!

So as you know, I already have Baby Shiro with me. But on the 16th of Oct last Saturday,

Baby Yuki joined us! She's 5 months old today and quite small in size!

Here's Yuki.

Cute right?! Guess I have this thing for white dogs. hahas.

Anyway, her birthday is on 19th of May which is the same as Tabby, my sister! So it's like, fated?

Well, I'm having quite a hard time training her as she's very playful and my time spent with Shiro and Yuki has been cut short due to my job.

Oh ya, speaking of the job, I've decided to take up the job as an Business Development Executive and withdraw from my current Higher Nitec studies. Will further my studies in future. :) Some people told me that I should continue and finish my Higher Nitec first. But for my case, I rather go out and work now and start to gain the experience and earn the money. Partly also cause of family financial thingy so it's best I get out and work now. Darling and I discussed and we'll be saving money every month for our house in years to come. It won't be an easy route but I'm sure with determination and hard work, I will be able to build a good future with my husband-to-be/Fiance.

So by the time I'm 21 years old, I'll have my career, my own apartment with Darling already while many of my friends just started working or saving money only or just graduated. So it's not totally a bad idea to step out to work now. I have my advantages. :) So do not worry. I know what I'm doing.You'll see.

BLOG DEAD FOR LONG - A LITTLE UPDATE

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Sorry for missing so long from my blog.
I've been lazy and definitely nothing to update! This blog's been so dead! Anyone wanna give me an idea of something to update about?

Anyway, here's a couple of photos and some typing to update. :)

Recently, I've been pondering on whether to quit Higher Nitec studies and find a full time job. So Darling and I discussed and we settled on me continuing my studies while I look for a job. And when I come across a good job offer, I'll take it and withdraw from my Higher Nitec studies.

Cause the thing is, we've been planning for our future together. Like what we wanna achieve, what kind of life we want. So the first thing we needa do, is to SAVE MONEY! Money for our house, our marriage and in future our baby.

Xavier's a good planner and laid out the steps and things we're gonna do to achieve the kind of life we want!
SOOOO, meanwhile I'll continue my studies first and if I come across a good job, I'll start earning money! :)

Oh ya, anyway, here's the photos. :) AND PS, I REALLY MISS MODELING! Still waiting for me to get over the acnes and get back in shape! It's been so long! Hope I can be back in business soon!

Remember I promised photos about my Redang trip? Well, Sorry for the delay as Darling and I were lazy to transfer the photos from his DSLR into the com. Heh heh.. Sorry la.. I know we're lazy... Don't tell me you're not lazy at times too? Hahas. Anyway, there aren't much pictures cause most of the time we were having fun and it wasn't convenient to bring the DSLR along as you know, the activities are basically all water/sea based.

As for my Olympus, which can be used in the water, "miraculously" spoiled! How? I have no idea! I was having fun on the beach and in the sea than when I wanted to snap some pictures, the camera couldn't be switched on! In the end we found out that water had "invaded" the inner parts of my camera. At that moment, I pronounced my camera dead. :( So, because my camera passed away, I wasn't able to take photos of the other activities nor record videos of the fishes swimming around us during snorkeling. :( Damn! It's really a waste because the view there is very nice and I wanted to share with you guys but my camera had to die on me there.... So, my apologies, there won't be any fishes and interesting photos or videos this time round.

BUT.... We still have some photos we took with the DSLR camera on land. :) . The photos are taken by Darling and I. So here goes! :)

The Hermit crab Jay caught.. In the end we let it free again. Jay was thinking about bringing him back to Singapore! Lols. But that wasn't possible so we let it free.

Enjoyed the photos? Hahas. I only have these photos with me, no fishes or snorkelling photos as mentioned earlier, my Olympus died on me. It's waterproof! If not, I would have videos and photos of the fishes! Hais..

So , here goes......

Today's post is about my new puppy, Shiro. He joined me and Darling on the 28th of May.
Let me tell you he's one cute little guy!

See? Cute ain't he? hehes. More pictures coming up at the later part.
When we brought him home, he was kinda timid and scared. When he's in the car, he sat on my lap quietly and was so obedient. But when we reached home and introduced him to his new home, he was so hyperactive! Even till now, he's still super hyper! Hahas. Well, guess all puppies are like this. Playful, curious, fun and also, NOT TOILET/PAPER TRAINED.

This is the BIGGEST challenge Darling and I face. Totally tiring us out. It's been more than two weeks now but he still pees and poops at different places in the house. Well, I guess we'll need more patience and consistent guidance to get him paper trained. :)

However, yesterday was a big improvement! Darling and I were in the living room playing Counter-Strike Source and we let Shiro run free and play around by himself. Miraculously, Shiro went to pee on the paper 2 times and poop-ed on the paper 1 time! He went there by himself! Darling and I were so happy we kept on praising him and cuddling him!

But today, he went back to his old self again. Lols. Well, hope he'll learn soon as he proved yesterday that he's kinda got the idea of where is the right place to do his businesses! :) So Darling and I keep telling ourselves, PATIENCE, PATIENCE! :)

Anyway, here's how we named him Shiro. We were thinking of a good name for him and I didn't want to name him those common names like "Lucky", "Boy Boy" Etc. I don't like those names as I find them too simple, common and doesn't show the value of the particular dog. I want my dog to sound like he's a human and part of the family,having a name that resembles human names. So initially I was thinking of naming him with western names. But I recalled my nickname, Setsukovall , which is part of jap name so Darling and I started looking for Jap names to name him with. We went through a few, "Kenji" , "Hiro" etc.

But Darling suddenly asked me to search for Crayon Shinchan dog's name. So I went online and found out the name "SHIRO"! I searched for the meaning of Shiro and it explained that it means "White". So immediately, we decided the name for him! And that's Shiro!

So, that's my baby shiro and I hope we'll get him paper trained soon! Wish me luck yeah?

Anyway, now a little update of myself.
- My holiday's coming up, starts 12 June. I'll have time for Shiro and my family! (3 Weeks!)
- I'm gonna go on a diet and slim back down because that day when I was being weighed at the Eye Centre, I WAS 47.5KG!!! NOT GOOD! NOT A GOOD NUMBER EITHER!
Before I took the damn medication, which i've been taking for more than a year, I was 41-43kg. But now, I'm 47.5kg! OH GOSH! SO YEAH, I AM GOING TO SLIM BACK DOWN DURING THIS HOLIDAY AND GET BACK TO 43KG SOON!

And after that, I'll be able to get back to my photoshoots! Gosh I really really really miss photoshoots! :(

Pray for me! And meanwhile I'll work hard to slim down! Now for my acnes condition. It's been getting a little better. Although still very visible. But it's a good start that it's coming down and healing slowly. :D

So, meanwhile you guys have a really great day everyday yeah? I'll try to blog as much as I can. Although if you guys have noticed, I normally blog only when there's something to blog about and not blog about my everyday life like what time I woke up, where I went, who I was with and stuffs. So I guess many of you know my "pattern" & "style" of blogging already? Hahas.

First tattoo done!

Hi peeps! Promised I'll try to blog more often so here's another post! :)

Today's post is about my new tattoo! Yes! I had a tattoo done last Saturday. It was done at a Tattoo shop at City Square, Johor. It's located in the Innercity of the shopping mall. It's a Level 4. My tattoo's done by a lady, her name's Lictor. Tattoo was done at $350RM.

Anyway, never did I imagine I would have the courage and guts to have a tattoo done as I'm afraid of the pain I'll have to go through. Well, in the end I did. Here's what happened.

Darling, Jay and Jay's gf , Eunice and I went to City Square to hang out and chill, have dinner... On the way there, when we were still stuck at custom, we were talking about Darling's new tattoo and I was telling them I wanna have a tattoo done but no courage, scared of the pain. They said, Aiya, later go the tattoo shop and have a look first.. See whether you can find any designs you like then see how.

Darling suggested that if I'm gonna have a tattoo done, its better for me to choose tribals. They look more classic and won't become outdated. Darling also said that one tattoo is enough. Cause if you have alot of tattoos, you'll end up looking like Ah Beng or Ah Lian instead of portraying the Art of Tattoos and I agree with his saying.

Anyway, during the drive to City Square, I was considering all the while thinking whether I should just pick up the courage and just go for it. But I was really scared man! So Darling said, it's ok, just go and have a look first. Have an idea of what you wanna have when you've got the courage to have it done.

So after we reached and had our meal at Seasons, we went to the Tattoo shop and I started flipping through the files, looking through all the different kinds of Tribals. Saw many nice ones but one design caught my eye. Guess what happened next?

No... I did not agree to have a tattoo done immediately. hahas.. The thing is, we started using the tracing paper to trace out the design and started designing an X in between the tribal. The tribal has a V shape-like pattern which is able to represent my name's first letter, V.
The X, is actually Darling's name's first letter, X, Xavier.
So we started designing the X drawing and erasing, erasing and drawing again until finally, I looked at the tracing paper and said. This is nice! Then, I was thinking, we've spent so much time designing the tattoo already and the tattoo artist been spending so much time helping us as well and I thought, too Pai Seh to just walk away like that. And since I'm here, why not just do it? :) So.... Darling paid the deposit and the tattoo artist asked us to come back in half an hour's time as there's another customer having a tattoo done.

So we went for a walk before going back and I was shaking! Hahas.. Darling was laughing at me and my reaction. I realized I had no way out already. There's no U-Turn. Deposit already paid. My heart was beating fast! Especially when we walked back and the tattoo artist opened the side door for me and Darling to enter the shop.

So, we settled down and I sat down on the chair. The tattoo artiste asked me to bend down, hugging the pillow. Oh ya. Forgot to mention, I had the tattoo done on my back waist.. You know, the standard part of the body where females put tribal tattoos at.

Okay, so I bent down, and my heart was still beating fast...

Darling was there to console,saying, Don't worry, it's not that bad...
Those consoles weren't of any use.. Lols.

When the tattoo artist was about to start, I stopped the tattoo artist and said, " Wait! I'm scared!"
But Darling assured and said it's not that painful, don't worry. So, I had the tattoo artist start.

First needle down and I felt.......... Ticklish!! Then, she carried on and it was kinda painful for the outlining but the pain's bearable. My facial treatments are even worse, when the beautician squeeze those blackheads, pimples etc out. When the "colouring" part started, it was even better... No pain, but you can feel vibrating and the needles poking through your skin, but no pain. In fact, during the ending part, I almost fell asleep! It was relaxing.... :)

So in the end when it was done... I was so happy and proud I finally had the courage to go through tattooing!
Was extremely satisfied with the outcome as well! Thanked the tattoo artist and left happily.. :)

Well, it wasn't that bad after all! And to add on, I even have urges of going back to have more tattoos done.. But I have to control that temptation cause one is enough and if I put more, I'll look like Ah Lian, which is totally not what I want to portray...

So, if you're thinking of having a tattoo done, you can consider having it done there. They're skilled and uses new needles so no worries! :)

Well, now I finally have a tattoo which is something I wanted for years but have no courage to do it before! :)

Thanks to Darling, Jay and Eunice for the encouragement and helping with the designing of the tattoo which is now tattooed nicely on my back waist! :) One new experience for me!

Also, here's to add my opinion towards tattoos. You can have them, but don't act in a way that makes people think you're Ah Lian or Ah Beng. I don't condemn people with tattoos. It's totally on how they interact and portray themselves. :) If you have a whole body of tattoos but you speak nicely and have good manners, I believe that's a very good asset even though you have tattoos all over. :)

Blog's dead for almost a month!

Hey peeps!

Just found out that my blog has been dead for almost a month now! I'm a lazy blogger, sadly... Sorry bout that if you've been clicking into my blog and seeing the same post stuck there all the time..

Alright then, let's get started with a little updates of what I've been doing.

During this April, lots happened, there was a big quarrel with my Darling bf and we almost broke up. Almost.
You must be wondering what happened. Well, we weren't quite happy with each other's actions and thus, led to a problem we finally took into consideration and worked out a solution. And now, our relationship is so much better. We're both contented with each other and our r/s really improved. :D It's fantastical!!!

Let me show you a photo. Darling had a tattoo done in Bugis while we're still under the quarreling period.

I was kinda shocked at first to see the photo he posted on Facebook. Then I confirmed with him whether that's him. Because, all the while, he wasn't someone who would have a tattoo done. But imagine someone like that suddenly having a tattoo done. Like, out of the sudden. Hmms. Anyway, only some can see what this tattoo includes. Other than the X. So, can you tell what this tattoo is about? Feel free to guess and comment on the post. :D

Next, this whole week has been just, FUN!!! Hahas.. Clubbing in Malaysia, Pool, Bowling, Pubbing. :D
Life's great! Hahas. Anyway, I'm back in ITE college East Simei for my Higher Nitec in Business Admin course. Previously I applied for Clementi campus and got in. But..... I COULDN'T ADAPT THERE and I couldn't stand there ways over there. Arggh..

At first I thought, tahan 3 months and it's gonna be Choa Chu Kang, the new big campus. But after much thinking, I rather travel far to somewhere I'm familiar with and somewhere I can excel and concentrate fully!
Let me tell you, Simei has much more flexibility than Clementi... So much more!

So, I requested for transfer and met with Simei's Section head for interview and BINGO! I'm approved for transfer! :D So now I'm back in Simei. Very much contented and glad. I'm in the same class with Elena, one of my girls. Love her! Also, I've got to know a few more friends and we always hang out together in school. We're somehow a clique right now. :D And they're all so friendly! Will post up a picture of us all one day when we've taken it. :)

Now, regarding my recovery from those acnes and swelling, I'M STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. The acnes are a little better. But still, very bad... Well, no choice, will need time for all this to end. :) JIA YOU VALERIE! Hahas..

Meanwhile, I hope you've been good and enjoying your life. For me, I'm learning to love life as it is.

My goals for 2010:

1) Recover from the acnes and slim back down
2) After recovering, get back to my modeling assignments. (They've been put on hold too long! Way too long!!!)
3) Maintain my GPA and study hard. Goal GPA: 3.6 and above.
(Hope I achieve my goal! I'll be sure to work hard!)
4) PLAY, HAVE FUN, ENJOY LIFE!!!!

Also, one more news for you before I wrap up this post.
I'll be doing lingerie shoots as well after I've fully recovered! :D
Darling has granted permission for this theme and I'm extremely happy! So do stay tuned for the photos. But of course, it won't be any soon but still, it'll be worth the wait! :D
Now all we've gotta do is pray hard I recover asap! And after recovery, I'll be back in business! :)
